I honestly thought that this was the one of the classics I liked in high school, but I was wrong. I found Holden to be extremely whiney and all over the place. I mean I guess that's what Salinger was going for but it took me a good while to get through this book. By the time I finished it, I was wondering why in the heck I didn't DNF it.
Sorry, Salinger but I have to rate this 1 out of 4 stars. No Bueno. But hey that's one more "Rory Gilmore" Challenge out of the way.
