Pirate King by Laurie R King

I do believe I've written it before and I will write it again. I love Laurie R King's Mary Russell seriesPirate King doesn't disappoint. Mary Russell is asked by Scotland Yard to find out what is going in with a British major motion picture company. There have been too many coincidences and correlations with crimes and the types of movies being filmed. There's also that pesky

business of a missing woman. So Mary Russell goes undercover as the producer's secretary, where she must manage/babysit thirteen girls, their mothers/chaperones, 2 male actors, the producer and his cousin, and find some "realist" pirates. Unfortunately for Mary, she stumbles upon actual pirates. Now how the heck does she manage to get herself plus all these others out of this one, and produce a movie?
. As I've said before anything and everything related to Sherlock Holmes is my repertoire. That said

Simply amazing how Laurie blends in the pirates of old with the pirates of new. I loved the shadiness, and the cunning of each character. Mary Russell is still my favorite Holmes girl, and so far nothing has persuaded me otherwise. The idea of a film within a film is simply mind-boggling, and Mary does her best to not think of it.

I simply do not think I can find a fault with this novel and there's so many things I want to write about. I'm afraid though of giving away spoilers. Just read the novel. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars, and again recommend it to mystery lovers, and Sherlock Holmesians.
