2nd Chance by James Patterson

Again this is another re-read for me. I really like this series because of the strong female characters, but also the successfulness of the characters.

A young girl is gunned down on the steps of a San Francisco church. As Lindsey Boxer, and her 3 Women's Murder Club finds analyze the situation and the clues, it becomes apparent that this is more than a simple drive-by shooting.

It's hard to write more without giving away key points to the novel. Lindsey's estranged father makes an appearance in this installment, and it definitely gets interesting. However, the short chapters and vague surrounding feelings towards different situations gives the reader an idea of what's going to happen. And that's the point of James Patterson's books, at least to me it is. There's a keep reading to make sure you are right feel, but the novel's give clues as to who the killer's are, and their motives. I believe that's why I rated this 4 out of 5 stars. It's not a great novel, but it is a good novel. And it's an easy to read novel with a fast pace.
